The modernisation of current education systems should address two domains, the modernisation of the management of educationalinstitutions as well as the modernisation of pedagogics and training. This can be achieved by a set of modular approaches, nevertheless keeping a holistic approach in mind.

Education Management Information System (EMIS)
Having adequate data is a major obstacle hindering the development of well-informed policies and procedures which are designed to improve the quality and efficiency of the education system. A fully implemented and operational Educational Management Information System (EMIS) is the key in the achievement of these tasks.

Quickly accessible information is the basis of modern school management. In an age of electronic administration and networking, the efficient implementation of professional software solutions for schools and school officials is becoming an increasingly important success factor.

EMIS is not just about getting data onto a computer; rather it provides the tool for conceptual research and the analytical investigation of the collected data. The system empowers officials at different levels in the school system with the capacity to dis-aggregate economic, infrastructure, social (including minority groups) and educational data in terms of rural/urban and central, regional, district, municipal and school levels.

An e-Diary is a learning network that modernizes and makes daily teaching and learning processes much easier. It is a Web based system for children, their parents, teachers and all school administration can become the main daily tool since it not only replaces paper diaries and grade books, but ensures a faster and more effective accounting of class attendance, necessary reports and closer communication among social or private groups from any part of the world.

Every system user has a different login ID and password and uses the adapted functions:

All students are able to see their learning results, ratings, schedules and the changes.
Parents, even those who live abroad, have a possibility to see their child learning results, attendance, ratings, teacher's remarks, etc. They are able to communicate with teachers and class supervisors via system.

Teachers do not have to calculate the averages or missed classes or rewrite reports anymore. Tasks like this can be conducted by specific e-Diary functionalities.
Class- and School Supervisors are able to monitor the matters of their classes, organize class/school activities, parents meetings, etc. They can promptly receive information about the school's academic records, subjects, teachers, parents, and other relevant information.

Centralised School Leaving Examinations
The introduction of a Digital Delivery and Management System for Centralised School Leaving Examinations provides transparency concerning the performance of the public education system, especially at the level of higher secondary schools. In addition such a system guarantees uniform educational standards, independently from single school locations or teachers.

Electronic schoolbooks will be provided via a central portal which fulfils all processes of deployment, booking, delivery and updating. The HTML 5 based bookshelf technology works as the digital e-Book reader for all digital titles.
